Shivam

Another morning at Benaras Ghat, I remember that was a day of “saptami pujan”. People were busy doing their rituals on the 7th day of Goddess Sherawali and my all of sudden, my complete attention was diverted to a young boy who was sitting at the riverside with his flower baskets and was busy writing his name on his hand. After writing his name, he was continuously looking at his hands from different angles.

I was lost for a moment, “everyone who spends most of the time at such holi places is not blessed. Even the Holy River Ganga, God and Goddess from the temples of this historic city aren’t able to fulfill the desire of a young boy and i.e education.” I don’t know if the fundamental human right of education has any meaning for himImage
